CIVIC collaborated with EA Engineering and CommonPlace Landscape and Planning to facilitate an innovative NOAA-funded coastal resilience project that aims to move beyond community engagement to mutual learning.

Working in collaboration with a resident cohort, the team gathered and analyzed environmental data about the Port of Providence, crafting a shared vision for habitat restoration and climate resilience, and developing conceptual solutions to address challenges. The project culminated in an open house event, bringing the broader public in to learn with the cohort and share the broader vision.
