In collaboration with a design team led by ARUP, CIVIC was charged with facilitating a broad and deep process to engage Providence communities in the design and development of a unified vision for the public spaces of downtown Providence. Conducted during some of the strictest months of COVID-19 isolation, the process used diverse modes of engagement: well attended Zoom meetings, surveys, a website, and on site interviews.
